Neue Open-Access-Zeitschrift: Behemoth. “A Journal on Civilisation focuses on the general problem of fading and/or failing statecraft and the consequences resulting out of it. It aims to discuss notions of risk and order within societies where state institutions gradually lose or have already lost their integrative power. The journal is a forum for discussion of the approaches appropriate to analyse these new, contingent and sometimes even precarious regimes of (dis)order.
Behemoth is ‘embedded’ in a research group supported by Leipzig University. This group has managed to assemble an advisory board.” Subskription ist noch nicht möglich — also beobachten.

Außerdem ist Volume 15.1 (2008) des Journal of Criminal Justice and Popular Culture erschienen — mit Artikeln über Crash von Ballard und Cronenberg, über die medialen Konstruktionen von “Identity Theft”, von “Juvenile Delinquency”¹ sowie einem “Special Feature” über “Monstrous Arrogance: Husbands Who Choose Murder Over Divorce”.
